Job Responsibilities
Group-Level Responsibilities: Support regional Business Development manager. Develop and standardize strategies and processes for M&A activities across the group. Conduct in-depth industry research and competitive market analysis to support external brand partnerships and M&A initiatives. Identify and integrate external resources to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Contribute to corporate long-term strategic planning and explore opportunities in new business areas and sectors. Conduct macroeconomic, industry, and competitor analysis to inform business decisions. Individual Responsibilities: Collect and analyze macroeconomic, regulatory, and industry-related data, assessing its impact on the company and providing actionable recommendations. Lead and facilitate external brand or category partnership initiatives, driving inter-departmental collaboration and project execution. Support internal synergy projects through cross-departmental coordination and engagement with external resources. Provide recommendations and insights for key decisions regarding M&A projects, including investments, restructuring, collaborations, capital adjustments, or exits. Conduct market research and provide analytical insights within the Southeast Asian Region using platforms such as Mintel, Euromonitor, etc.
Job Requirements
Knowledge: Macroeconomics, marketing, corporate strategy, financial analysis, and investment principles. Skills: Proficiency in frameworks such as PDCA/SDCA for process improvement. Strong analytical skills with a focus on data interpretation and logical thinking. Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Project management and execution expertise. Languages: Fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is required for effective communication and collaboration. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. 2+ years of relevant experience in M&A, market research, strategic planning, or corporate development. International experience or exposure to Southeast Asia markets is highly preferred.
