Job Responsibilities
1. Design, develop and maintain high performance structural variation algorithms based on large populations, or other related large-scale new genomic data analysis; 2. Conduct extensive research on recent research advances related to the field to evaluate their performance and provide constructive ideas; 3. Have deep cooperation with other team members and provide bioinformatics support when needed; 4. Data analysis, research and solve related technical problems, and process NGS sequencing data based on best practice statistical or computational methods, especially large population structural variation data; 5, according to the task or responsible for the project needs, accept other work arranged by the leader;
Job Requirements
1. Master degree or above; 2. Proficient in one or more languages such as Python, R or Perl, and familiar with Linux/Unix systems; Other programming languages C, C++, C#, or Java are preferred; 3. Have large population structural variation research background or rich related experience; 4. Have a deep understanding and practical application of statistics and bioinformatics algorithms; 5. Skilled in using workflow management systems (such as Nextflow, Snakemaker or WDL) to develop, improve and maintain bioinformatics processes, and use Git for quality and version control; 6.
