Job Description A well-known American school in Shanghai is looking to hire a Associate Head of School for August,2023 start. They are looking for someone with at least 2 years of teaching experience. They prefer the candidates to have an experience with US AP curriculum. The Associate Head of School, under the direct supervision of the Head of School, is primarily responsible for: 1.Curriculum and Instruction (in cooperation with the Head of School and Department Heads) 2.Student Activities (in cooperation with the Director of Student Activities 3.Student Management (in cooperation with the Dean of Students) 4.Admissions and Recruiting 5.General Administration Employer Description This school is a small, elite college prep high school in Shanghai, China, the school, located in Songjiang of Shanghai, they use US AP curriculum. Benefits 1.NOTE: This is an 11-month position to assist with closing out each school year and preparing for new school years 2.Annual Salary: 480,000RMB+ after tax (negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and recommendations) 3.4,000RMB housing allowance 4.Teacher health insurance 5.Round-trip ticket to home country

Job Requirements 1.Undergraduate or graduate degree in education 2.Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in high school 3.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in school leadership 4.Strong management background in curriculum & instruction 5.Experience in student management, student activities, teacher training, supervision, and evaluation 6.School administrator certificate from US State (preferred but not required). 7.Strong recommendations from previous supervisors
