Job Responsibilities

Key roles and Responsibilities • Translate and localize content from Chinese to English, and write and edit content in English, for the Trip.com website and app. • Communicate with a variety of internal stakeholders, in both English and Chinese. • Helping multi-language translators understand and effectively translate the content you create • Proactively solve challenging content issues, from source inaccuracies and inconsistencies to complex localization issues.

Job Requirements

Required: • Ability to not only translate Chinese source content, but to independently judge when the source content should be changed, adapted, or not directly translated. • Skilled at adapting English tone and style to a wide variety of different scenarios. • Outstanding writing and editing background. • Patience, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. • National of an English-speaking country. • Advanced level of Mandarin Chinese. • Two years relevant work experience.
