Job Responsibilities

Responsible for daily homeroom teaching and student management. - Cooperates closely with the Chinese Homeroom Teacher to plan and implement the class teaching plan. - Teach transdisciplinary units based on the Common Core State Standards, covering the scope of IB PYP subjects, and document the Unit planner on ManageBac. - Evaluate students’ academic, social, and moral development, and complete student reports on schedule for each term. -Organize and coordinate various activities and the end-of-term showcase based on the school-wide curriculum plan. - Engages in home-school communication and maintain regular contact with parents. - Participate in specialist subject classrooms (in rotation with the international homeroom teacher). - Monitoring student conduct both in and out of class. - Actively participate weekly professional training or other developmental opportunities. - Collaborate with other school departments on admissions and administrative tasks. - Adheres to school and Academic Department policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or above, with preference given to those with a background in Education, related disciplines, or international education. Hold a teaching certificate or relevant teaching qualifications. 2. Teaching Experience:At least 2 years of teaching experience in primary schools or international schools. Preference will be given to those familiar with the IB PYP curriculum. Experience in interdisciplinary teaching and the ability to design and implement teaching plans based on the Common Core State Standards are required. 3. Student Management Skills:Possess strong student management skills and the ability to effectively monitor students' behavior both in and out of the classroom. Ability to assess students' academic, social, and moral development and complete student reports on time. 4. Communication and Collaboration Skills:Strong communication skills with parents and the ability to maintain regular contact with them. Ability to collaborate with other school departments and participate in admission and administrative tasks. 5. Event Organization Skills:Ability to organize and coordinate school activities, and to plan and present end-of-term activities according to the school's curriculum schedule. 6. Compliance with Regulations:Adherence to the policies and procedures of the school and the academic department. 7. Other Requirements:Strong team spirit and the ability to rotate with international homeroom teachers to participate in professional subject classes. Strong sense of responsibility and professional ethics, and the ability to adapt to a multicultural working environment.
