Job Responsibilities

1. Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated Biology and General Science curriculum for students 2. Teach Biology and General Science to students in Years 7 to 13 3.Teach Biology to IGCSE and A-Level 4.Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential 5.Contribute to raising standards of student attainment 6.Share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth Key Benefits 1. Job Requirements

1.Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field of study together with qualified teacher status or an equivalent level of teaching qualification 2.Experience of working in a teaching position in this subject area for at least two years 3.Organised and committed to the role 4.A commitment to contribute to the wider aspects of school life 5.An effective team member 6.Clear and confident communication skills, able to liaise at all levels and with all members of the school community
