Job Responsibilities
1. Provide product assortment roadmap plans on business strategy, rationalized product assortment and stocking mix items to focus on core products with good price and market. 2. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. 3. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and customers to ensure product availability and satisfaction. 4. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to create and execute category plans and initiatives. 5. Collaborate with our Global Sourcing team on sourcing and supply priorities, relationships with domestic vendors, etc. 6. Conduct regular category reviews and performance analysis to optimize assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies. 7. Provide training and guidance to sales teams on product features, benefits, and selling techniques. 8. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards in all aspects of category management.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 2. 8+ years of experience in category management in the MRO industry. 3. Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability goals through effective category management. 4. Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and financial modeling. 5. Excellent cross-culture communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 7. Familiarity with category management software and tools (e.g., ERP). 8. Passion for the star-up company
