Job Responsibilities
1) Duties - Manage, train and develop the Group sourcing team in Shanghai - Enforce a spirit and requirement of excellence with every team member - Request and train for perfect workmanship in the team as well as with suppliers - Secure the respect of code of ethics - Planning and budgeting - Monitor and deliver the expected financial performance of the business unit 2) Main Purchasing responsibilities - Deploy Group purchasing strategy and policies, and in particular select and manage suppliers in order to minimize the global cost of materials and services while improving the performance in terms of finance, logistics, quality and service - Support Group policy of localization of supplies in low cost countries - Work in close coordination and ensure proper information sharing with Shanghai and Wuxi supply chain teams 3) Supplier management - Organize sourcing committee with the TLD-WUX & -SHA and ensure the selection of suppliers that comply with Group quality requirements and respect delivery schedules - Plan supplier negotiation 4) Logistics and warehousing - Oversee logistics and warehousing of GS components with support of Factory warehousing team - Ensure security and order of components inventory - Ensure accuracy of inventory data in ERP 5) Vendor quality management - define and monitor quality standards with suppliers - setup quality inspection
