Job Responsibilities

Introduction: We are is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to curate content for our social media channels. The Social Media Manager is expected to provide a voice for VerseOne Distribution across social channels as well as oversee social media marketing and advertising. They will be responsible for responding to comments and creating content. Social Media Managers look for opportunities to increase brand exposure for their assigned company. RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals • Set specific objectives and report on ROI • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout) • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Business or related field • 2-3 years relevant work experience • Master’s degree is an added bonus • Proven work experience as a Social media manager • Hands on experience in content management • Excellent copywriting skills • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics • Knowledge of online marketing channels • Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising. • Leverage the right tools to manage your content such as PostPlanner and Buffer, however there are many tools that can/will fit your needs. • Familiar with simple image editing sofware such as Canva, Pixlr, or Adobe Photoshop. • Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns. • Integrate all channels of marketing (social media, SEO, content marketing, email, print and digital marketing) • Excellent communication skills • Analytical and multitasking skills • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field • IT Literate – good understanding in Google Docs/Suite, Microsoft office suite, Zoho Software Suite and other Enterprise SaaS software. • Proficiency in Chinese is a plus (though not required).
