Job Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Cultivate a deep understanding of the company's offerings and remain abreast of industry trends and technologies. - Customer Engagement: Assess potential clients' technical requirements and business challenges through active engagement. - Solution Presentations: Craft and deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals elucidating the value of our offerings. - Technical Support: Provide pre-sales technical support, address customer inquiries, and resolve product functionality and compatibility concerns. - Product Knowledge Transfer: Train sales teams on the technical intricacies of our products or services, empowering them to effectively communicate benefits to customers. - Proof of Concept (PoC): Collaborate with customers to design and execute PoCs to validate the efficacy of proposed solutions. - Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, encompassing proposals, case studies, and specifications. - Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of competitors' offerings and market trends to strategically position our products or services. - Project Technical Work: Oversee technical aspects in later project stages, including device deployment for business operations and technical debugging. - Simulations and Testing: Conduct simulations and testing as required for troubleshooting and upon request. - Technical Focus Areas: Specialize in enterprise network security, Endpoint Security, EDR, NDR, XDR, Server Virtualization, Backup, Cybersecurity Services, and SD-WAN technology. - Ad-Hoc Duties: Fulfill any other duties as required or assigned.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of three years in presales for IT enterprise solutions. - Education: Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Computer Science/IT, Networking, or equivalent. - Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in a technical role such as software engineering, system administration, or technical support. - Problem-Solving Skills: Strong aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple, customer-friendly language. - Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. - Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with a knack for building and nurturing strong customer relationships. - Sales Collaboration: Familiarity with sales processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams. - Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings or demonstrations. - Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., product-specific certifications and Cloud or Security relevant certifications) are advantageous. - Technical Presales Engineers play a pivotal role in aiding customers' decision-making processes and significantly contribute to the company's sales success.
