The Principal of Kindergarten EYFS-UK education background Preferred -- Native speakers only This is a senior leadership position, with overall responsibility for the campus. He or she will have considerable freedom in implementing the EYFS curriculum and Forest School curriculum. The Principal works in close collaboration with the school’s Chinese Director who will be responsible for government relations and the daily management of the school. The Principal also collaborates closely with the board officer of ******* Xi’an. Responsibilities will include the following: 1, Works in close collaboration with the school’s Chinese Director together to provide overall leadership for the ******* Xi’an. 2, Ensure a safe and secure environment for students and staff. 3, Ensure that the academic program is implemented in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of ******* Xi’an. 4, Provide inspirational leadership for the education and well-being of the children. 5, Provide professional forest education courses for children. 6, Lead ongoing development of the curriculum, and of the assessment and reporting of student progress. 7, Develop and maintain excellent relationships with parents in support of student education. 8, Implement the recruitment, orientation, appraisal, motivation, and retention of teachers. 9, Establish and maintain high professional expectations for all teachers and staff. 10, Support and participate in marketing activities. 11, Ensure the understanding and implementation of all ******* Xi’an. policies and procedures. 12, Provide regular reports to the board officer of ******* Xi’an. Job Requirements

Qualifications: 1, Master's degree or above in education-related field. 2, At least 5 years of working experience as a principal or academic director in early education. 3, Familiar with EYFS framework and practical operation. 4, Practicing and holding the certificate of Forest Education. 5, Familiar with all kinds of mainstream curriculum systems. 6, Experience of and/or commitment to collaborating in the development and implementation of a bilingual/dual language program for early learners. 7, Strong leadership capacity; evidence of effective school leadership preferred 8, Strong desire to work with both local and international teachers and to work in, and facilitate the creation of, collaborative teams. 9, High emotional intelligence, including the capacity to respond with compassion and firmness while maintaining the respect of parents, students, and colleagues from different cultures.
