Job Responsibilities

1.2 or more years of full time, school based, teaching experience 2.Wide working knowledge of curricula and know-how in supporting non-native speaking children in accessing this (required) – English National Curriculum preferred 3.High levels of subject knowledge in Global Perspectives 4.Having experience of Secondary school IGCSE, A-Level or IB curriculum in English or Philosophy would be an advantage to be considered 5. This teaching position is for Grade 6 -8 Global Perspectives. 6.This course follows the Cambridge Lower Secondary Global Perspectives Syllabus with adaptations and additions to fit our local context. 7.Emphasis is placed on students developing their higher order thinking skills and demonstrating their learning in a variety of ways (presentations, videos, art, essays). 8.Global Perspectives teachers are part of the Middle School Humanities Department, which includes both international and national teachers. We are looking for candidates with a passion for Middle School education who can engage our students in dynamic and creative lessons.
