Job Responsibilities
About JPED Academy JPED Academy is a dynamic startup school which launched in 2017. Our first class of graduates have been accepted into New York University, California Academy of Arts, Boston University, College of William and Mary, and others. We uphold a commitment to small class sizes, big ideas, and projects that truly impact and enhance the community. We inherited some of our traditions and ideology from our sister school, The Darrow School, in New York State, in the USA. We continue to innovate and grow the school programs to represent a balanced modern education that combines the New York Next Generation Learning Standards, and the Chinese National Curriculum. What we expect: As a PBL based school we expect our teachers to go really deep, find problems and challenge ideas our students, as learners need support and the time to involve empathy around real problems, collaborate, brainstorm, question, test their ideas and share. What you can expect: A warm community of ‘student-first’ professionals who engage in constant collaboration and innovation all in order to nurture potential in all of our students. Position: You will teach humanities subjects to our High School Prep students.
