We develop language technology solutions that empower our clients to realize their full potential internationally through more efficient language translation and localization. In shifting translation to mobile, Stepes gives translation a 21st century makeover by bringing translation into the sharing economy, democratizing who can translate and who can afford translations. Just as Uber allows private drivers to use their own cars to make money, Stepes give translators a way to put their previously untapped language skills to work while those in need of translation can have translation projects completed on-demand from their smartphones. We are looking for a hard working and self motivated individual to lead our development team for our next generation translation platform that enables globalizes and translators to work together seamlessly anytime, everywhere. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: As product manager, you will set clear goals and envision / execute on a product road map and go-to-market strategy for global markets. Your performance as the product lead will be measured by the growth of our product business, and by your ability to work closely with engineers, designers, business development, and operations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and desired skills: • Experience building and leading businesses for international markets • IConfidence in ownership of business performance metrics. • Native proficiency in English and excellent communications (oral and written) skills. • Sharp design instincts and product taste. • User-experience – You are willing to do whatever is needed to ensure the highest user experiences. • A driver attitude - constantly pushing the boundary to ensure on-time delivery while balancing the need for team work and collaboration. • 3 plus years experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer Internet products. • Can-do attitude. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle challenges hands-on, you persevere where others fail. • A strong desire to grow and learn. • BA in computer science or equivalent, preferably with strong technical understanding capability and hands-on software engineering experience.
