Job Responsibilities

The International department of this public school is hiring Science Teachers （Chemistry/Biology). 1. According to CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) syllabus and IBDP course guide, teaching relevant A Level /IGCSE/IBDP subject course in English or bilingual. 2. Assigning appropriate homework and correcting homework on time. 3. Supervising students and monitoring students’ learning progress. 4. Preparing students’ periodic school report. 5. Given extra help to weak students. 6. Participating in extracurricular activities. 7. Attend meetings as requested (e.g. parents’ meetings, staff meetings, as well as any other appropriate meetings/promotional events), as may be reasonably required.

Job Requirements

1. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science; Teacher Qualification Certificate is required; 2. Working Experience Being familiar with the science subjects in A level or IB curriculum, having at least two years of teaching experience in international high schools; Being familiar with the course guide of IBDP science subjects, being familiar with the content of IBDP examinations, following the latest news for IBDP examinations, being able to accurately grasp the trend of IBDP global examinations, and having at least two years of teaching experience in international high schools; Candidates who have working experience in both areas are preferred; 3. Candidates who have powerful competence in teaching and researching worked as a high school subject leader, can easily get along with others and collaborate in teams, and have experiences in student management are preferred.
