Job Responsibilities

Packaging Design Preparation: Adapt and pre-design instant noodles and beverage packaging for export, adhering to SEA regulatory requirements. Use domestic packaging designs as a base, incorporating approved foreign language labels and regional adjustments. Make minor visual modifications (e.g., removing endorsers or updating visuals) based on marketing and regulatory feedback. Production-Ready Design Adjustments: Collaborate with production facilities to refine packaging into production-ready versions. Liaise with external printing vendors to finalize designs that meet manufacturing requirements. Marketing Material Creation: Create promotional assets such as posters, brochures, and sales materials for SEA campaigns. Support the sales and marketing teams with design-related requests. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to ensure packaging and promotional materials align with business and compliance goals. Communicate regularly with the Shanghai headquarters in Mandarin to coordinate updates and align on design changes. Efficiency Improvement: Streamline the design process to reduce reliance on external advertising agencies, ensuring cost-effective solutions for frequent product adjustments.

Job Requirements

Knowledge: Familiarity with packaging design principles and print production processes for instant noodles and beverages. Understanding of SEA regulatory requirements for food and beverage labeling and packaging. Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Strong attention to detail, especially in adapting designs for regulatory compliance. Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a cross-cultural environment. Fluency in Mandarin and English to facilitate communication with the Shanghai team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in packaging design or marketing material development, preferably in the food or beverage industry. Knowledge of SEA packaging and labeling regulations is a strong advantage.
