Job Responsibilities
1. Prepared statutory accounts with IFRS comply with other applicable Financial Reporting Standards as appropriate 2. To provide accounting support for the monthly financial cycle (journals, reconciliations etc) and make sure general ledger has integrity at all times (accurate and timely) 3. Prepared tax returns to high standards of accuracy, and contributed to obtaining maximum tax deductions 4. To support the Accounts Receivable and Payable function, ensure all invoices are processed (and creditors paid) on time and expenditure coding is correct 5. To maintain the Fixed Assets Register, ensure additions and disposals to the register are correctly recorded and FAR reconciles to General Ledger 6. To support the Manager External Reporting and Manager Management Reporting with various reporting obligations 7. To support projects and analysis within the wider finance team
Job Requirements
1. University graduate in Finance/Economics/Accounting/Mathematics A complete or comprehensive understanding of accounting practices and procedures 2. The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information, whether it’s information for the company or for individuals 3. Must be attentive to detail, thorough, possess a strong work ethic, and be professional and courteous when working with others
