Job Responsibilities
1.Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, covering micro/macroeconomics, financial literacy, and real-world applications using interactive teaching methods. 2.Evaluate student progress through formative/summative assessments, providing constructive feedback on assignments, exams, and economic research projects. 3.Organize economics-focused activities such as investment simulations, debate competitions, and field trips to financial institutions. 4.Collaborate with stakeholders by communicating student performance to parents/colleagues and participating in departmental meetings. 5.Integrate global perspectives by incorporating international case studies and fostering cross-cultural economic awareness. 6.Maintain professional growth through ongoing training, curriculum updates on emerging economic trends, and adherence to school policies.
Job Requirements
1.Relevant academic credentials: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, preferably with coursework in education or pedagogy. 2.Teaching certification/license: Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, state licensure) and/or TEFL/TESOL certification for non-native English speakers. 3.Proven teaching experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching economics at the secondary level, with familiarity in curriculum design and student assessment. 4.Language proficiency: Native English , with strong communication skills for delivering complex economic concepts clearly. 5.Cross-cultural competence: Adaptability to work in diverse educational environments and sensitivity to cultural differences in teaching and communication. 6.Legal eligibility: Clean criminal background check, valid work visa eligibility, and compliance with local government/school regulations for foreign educators.
