Job Responsibilities

1. Track global design fields (such as product design, visual design, user experience, brand design, etc.) for industry dynamics, emerging trends, and technological innovations, covering multiple dimensions including consumer markets, technology, culture, and society; 2. Analyze changes in user behavior, lifestyles, and aesthetic preferences, uncovering potential design opportunities; 3. Research competitors and industry benchmark cases, distilling actionable design strategies and innovative directions; 4. Integrate multi-channel data (such as social media, industry reports, user research, sales data, etc.), using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to produce trend insight reports; 5. Present trend evolution patterns through data modeling or visualization tools (such as Tableau, Power BI) to support design decisions; 6. Regularly publish quarterly/annual design trend white papers, internal sharing reports, or customized trend recommendations for clients; 7. Participate in forward-looking design planning for corporate products, brands, or services, proposing innovative directions and actionable suggestions; 8. Collaborate closely with design, marketing, product, and R&D teams to convert trend insights into actual projects; 9. Provide strategic decision support to senior management, assisting in the formulation of long-term design roadmaps; 10. Participate in industry forums, exhibitions, design weeks, and other events to establish external expert networks and industry resource databases; 11. Liaise with design agencies, academic institutions, or third-party data platforms to obtain the latest industry information.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in design, marketing, sociology, statistics, business analysis, or related fields. 2. Over 3 years of work experience in design trend research, market insights, or strategic consulting, with a preference for backgrounds in consumer goods, technology, or fashion industries. 3. Proven track record of successfully producing trend reports or participating in design innovation projects. 4. Familiarity with design trend analysis tools (such as WGSN, Pantone Color Institute, Behance, Designboom, etc.). 5. Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, Python/R) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI). 6. Basic knowledge of design software (Adobe Suite, Figma) is a plus. 7. Highly sensitive to design, culture, and technology trends, with the ability to quickly identify key signals and extract patterns. 8. Logical ability to construct systematic viewpoints from fragmented information. 9. Excellent cross-departmental collaboration skills, able to translate technical jargon into language understandable by business teams. 10. Outstanding report writing and presentation skills, capable of conveying insights through a combination of data and storytelling. 11. Forward-thinking perspective, willing to challenge traditional thinking and propose breakthrough design directions. 12. Familiarity with emerging trends in artificial intelligence, sustainable design, and the metaverse is preferred. 13. Proficiency in multiple languages (such as English, Japanese, Korean) and the ability to read international cutting-edge literature. 14. Experience in personal design works or publication of industry analysis articles.
