What is the CSC Scholarship?
Study in China on Chinese government scholarships (CGS)- CSC Scholarships are awarded by Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) to international students in Chinese universities affiliated with CSC. The online application system for CSC Scholarships or the admission process runs from December to April every year (generally). But the application’s specific deadline varies depending on which university you’re applying at for China Scholarships. There, the CSC Scholarships online application is very important for scholarship applicants.
There are 274 Chinese universities offering scholarships for international students every year. The list of universities under the Chinese government scholarship can be found here: https://www.cscscholarship.org/
The “Study Chinese in China” program is also available under a scholarship. There are many universities offering Chinese language scholarships around the country.
CSC Results: The Chinese government scholarship results are announced by the end of July according to the China Scholarship Council (CSC China ) policies. Successful applicants can then join their universities at the start of their September term.
These scholarships are awarded to students through agencies like,
-
Chinese government scholarships through University
-
The Chinese embassy in other countries, which have diplomatic relations with China.
If you have decided to apply for the 2019-2020 Chinese Government Scholarship, then you’ll need to submit this online CSC scholarship application and apply directly in a Chinese university that offers your selected degree. As far as the embassy application is concerned, the embassy generally receives applications in other countries via the Higher Education Institute. Scholarships via the embassy are also called “Bilateral Programs”.
