What do I need to prepare for a work visa (Z visa)?

Original certificate of no criminal record (to get to no criminal record requires certification by the Chinese Embassy of your country, or impartial certification by the Embassy of your country in China). The above documents should be translated into Chinese and stamped with the official seal of the Chinese company.

What is the length of stay of Chinese Z visa?

This Z visa only allows you to stay for 30 days from the date of your arrival in China. During this period, you and your employer must apply for a temporary residence permit within the duration of your contract, with a minimum of 90 days and a maximum of 5 years. Please note that a work visa is usually a one-time entry with a stay time of 000, which means that the stay time will be determined by the temporary residence permit you obtain after entering China.

What is the age limit for Z visa application?

The age limit for all applicants is 18-60 years. However, these requirements have some flexibility, so if you are not in this age group and can find a willing employer, they may still be able to get approval for you.
