A more “proactive, open, and effective” strategy will be implemented by China in order to attract more international knowledge. It is hoped that by implementing this new regulation, it would become simpler for foreigners to begin working lawfully in the United States.
Working in China necessitates the acquisition of certain permits and certifications.
This is according to the Chinese Law on Exit and Entry Administration:
Foreigners who want to work in China are required to get a work permit as well as a work-type residence permit in compliance with the applicable laws. Foreigners who do not possess these two papers are not permitted to work for any organizations or individuals in the country.
Options:
Apply for a Foreigner’s Work Permit Notice online if you are located outside of China.
In order to get a Z or R visa, you must visit a Chinese embassy or consulate.

Make an application for work-type residence permits at a public security office.

‘High-End Foreign Talents’ are sent via the ‘Green Channel.’
Scientists, prominent science and technology experts, international entrepreneurs, and other high-end foreign talents who fulfill the score evaluation norms are examples of high-end foreign talents. This group of people will benefit from the “green channel,” which will simplify and streamline the application procedure even more.
The following are examples of green channel procedures:
If you have previously been selected by relevant national talent programs, you do not need to submit an online application or submit paper materials for verification.
Only specific candidates will be permitted to continue on a personal confirmation basis in respect to their highest academic degree certificates or any other professional credentials, as long as they make a pledge regarding a non-criminal record certificate. Providing supporting documentation may also be expected of others.
Other things to keep in mind about the green channel:
High-end talents (type A) who already have other forms of visas or valid residence permits in China may apply for a Foreigner’s Work Permit directly via the Chinese government.
Applications for a Foreigner’s Work Permit, as well as extensions and cancellations of such permits, will henceforth be processed in 5 business days.
It is possible to apply for a Foreigner’s Work Permit with a validity duration of up to five years.
