English teaching job in Shenzhen
There are different variations of teaching jobs in Shenzhen, which basically include international school teachers, training center English teachers, online English teachers and tutors. If you are teaching in training centers, the salary will vary from 1,000RMB to 25,000RMB, depending on your background and experience.
Shenzhen international school
Shenzhen plans to build five or six more international schools by 2020 in an effort to meet the demand of a growing foreign population. The move is also in line with its efforts to build an international, modern and innovative city.
There are seven international schools for foreigners currently operating in Shenzhen. At least 10 high schools in the city offer an international curriculum.
If you are teaching in an international school in Shenzhen, the starting salaries should be at least 21,000RMB per month plus allowances; most schools provide at least medical insurance (check the level of cover), housing, shipping and flights, plus school lunches of varying quality.
