New Year’s Day, January 1: New Year’s comes early this year, with our three-day holiday starting on Dec 30 and riding through to Jan 1, back to work on Tuesday. No Adjusted Working Days.
Spring Festival/Chinese New Year: The official days off are February 15 (the final day of Lunar New Year or 除夕 Chúxì) to February 21, a total of seven days. Make-up work days are Sunday, February 11, and Saturday, February 24.
Qing Ming Festival: Tomb Sweeping Festival will be celebrated April 5-7, Thursday to Saturday. Sunday, April 8, is a make-up day.
Labor Day: Start the three-day May holiday from April 29 to May 1st. Make-up work day is Saturday, April 28.
Duan Wu Jie: Dragon Boat Festival will also be celebrated in June, from June 16-18, also a Saturday to Monday. No make-up day necessary.
Mid-Autumn Festival: Mid-Autumn Festival is three day holiday from September 22 – 24 , Saturday to Monday. No make-up day necessary.
National Day/October 1: The good news is, the national holiday will be seven days in 2018, from October 1-7, beginning and ending on a Sunday. Make-up work days are Saturday, September 29, and Sunday, September 30 .
November and December.
