On August 8, 2017, our company (GuideinChina site) publicly released an article titled “Foreign Teacher Deported For Taking Drugs In Shenzhen.” It prominently featured an incorrect photo of an Etonkids teacher that had nothing to do with the content of the article, providing readers a misconception of the guilty party. After careful examination and verification, Joseph Thomas Astley Harrison, an Etonkids International Education Group teacher wearing an Etonkids uniform, and the content of the article related to foreign teachers being expelled from China due to drug use do not have any relationship. This reference in the article caused damage to the reputation of both Etonkids International Education Group and the foreign teacher, Joseph Thomas Astley Harrison, both of whom were innocent of any representations in the article. Thanks to Etonkids International Education Group’s timely discovery of this information and reporting to our company, we have adjusted the article accordingly and deleted the erroneous photos. We apologize to Etonkids International Education Group and its employee, Joseph Thomas Astley Harrison, for any negative damage resulting from this article.
