The sea eye of Beixinqiao in Beijing is a big well located in a temple with big iron chains in it. Nobody knows who put these chains in and how long exactly they are. These chains were only pulled up two times. Once was when the Japanese invaded Beijing in the 1940s. The Japanese tried to pull it up, but after being pulled up about one or two kilometers, yellow sea water came up, accompanied by the sound and smell of sea breeze. The Japanese panicked and put the chains back. The second time was in 1960s, the Chinese Red Guards broke “the four old” and pulled up the big iron chains.

The same situation happened as with Japanese, they were all scared, and quickly put these chains back. The latest news about Beixinqiao sea eye was when Beijing built a subway, it was said that in order not to destroy the ancient well in Beixinqiao, the subway had to go around many kilometers.

2. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Nanjing

Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum in Nanjing has a road called dragon neck (an ancient battlefield), the road is very shady, curved and long, both sides are trees and grass, or stone walls. The long road does not have street lamps, the sky is covered by branches, not leaking a trace of light. Wuliang Hall in the Mausoleum is the scariest place.

The hall enshrines the martyrs of the Republic of China. The whole hall doesn’t have a beam, in Chinese fengshui, this structure is the Yin House, and then enshrines so many strong magnetic field spirits, not even at late night, standing in the central hall in the daytime can asend chills up your spine.

This is one of most haunted places in Hong Kong. It is said that in ancient times, after the flash floods, a wedding team passed through the bridge and were flushed into the water. No one was found. Since then, every time it rains heavily, there will be people swept away by the floods.

Some people also said when they passed by the bridge, they would have the illusion of seeing many children playing under the bridge.

In fact, “Luosi Jie Ding” means “dead bodies top”, in 1645, there was a ten-day massacre in Yangzhou by the army of Qing dynasty, and the dead bodies were piled as high as a roof.
